A Decade of Refinement: RS Factory Redefines the Ceiling of AQUATIMER FAMILY Timepiece Series

Introducing the special edition of the IWC AQUATIMER FAMILY Timepiece series, “Jacques-Yves Cousteau Expedition,” as the new addition for the summer of 2023. Rejecting compromises, RS Factory has summarized the shortcomings of all versions available in the market and made improvements one by one, officially launching the IWC AQUATIMER FAMILY Timepiece into the RS era!

1. The only watch strap with a size of 22mm*18mm that matches the original.
2. The strap is made of top-grade fluororubber material (while market versions often use low-cost silicone), avoiding the pain point of cracking at the strap’s lug position with a slight bend. The lug position adopts the quick-release technology consistent with the original, making it easy for even novice watch enthusiasts to change the strap effortlessly.
3. RS Factory spares no cost in adopting original factory technology, overcoming numerous challenges, and preventing excessive rotation of the bezel, which would otherwise lead to the awkward situation of the bezel becoming stuck. The bezel rotates in the correct direction, driving the inner shadow, while it remains stationary when rotated in the opposite direction, achieving the standard of the original unidirectional rotating inner shadow.
4. As it is widely known, achieving an identical shade of blue in literal color matching has always been the most challenging task. To solve this problem, the RS team spared no expense in purchasing the original blue version and abandoned traditional color-matching methods. Instead, they utilized the most advanced electroplating technology and underwent countless iterations to finally achieve a seamless, color-matched blue dial without any deviation.
5. To achieve flawless luminescence on both the hands and markers, the RS team refused to compromise. They used expensive Swiss-imported luminous powder as the raw material, and each scale and hand was manually filled, avoiding the embarrassment of uneven luminescent coating or insufficient brightness. The dual-color, ultra-strong luminescence ensures that the wearer can read the time clearly in dark or low visibility conditions.
