In 2024, RS Factory presents the first stainless steel bracelet style IW371617 from the iconic IWC Portugieser Chronograph series. With no expense spared, we invested heavily to acquire the original timepiece for replication. It took two years and multiple iterations, using numerous templates and eliminating inferior versions, to finally create the ultimate version. This debut marks the pinnacle of achievement!

The bracelet has undergone meticulous polishing and brushing, exhibiting impeccable craftsmanship from every angle. The butterfly folding clasp provides an ergonomic and comfortable design, perfectly contouring to the wrist and adding a sporty touch. The entire bracelet, from the clasp to the end-links, is based on the original design, ensuring no deviation in data. It seamlessly integrates with the authentic watch head, allowing for easy interchangeability. For leather strap variations within the same series, we use genuine Italian calf leather and pair it with the classic IWC folding clasp. The data matches the original version exactly, enabling effortless interchangeability.

The dial features a spacious design and employs the same lacquer process as the original. Each of the 12 Arabic numerals has been meticulously crafted, polished, and finished to near perfection. Its three-dimensional quality surpasses that of any other version, complemented by the blue steel hands, exuding a subtle yet luxurious appearance.

The back reveals a customized version of the 69355 chronograph movement through a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The automatic winding system provides a power reserve of 46 hours. Through meticulous replication and a two-year process of modeling and prototyping based on the original movement, its appearance closely resembles the authentic version, even when viewed through the transparent case back. All functionalities are also 100% synchronized with the original.

Through precise refinement by the RS team, the stability of the underlying 7750 base movement has been significantly enhanced, alleviating the long-standing issue of chronograph movements being all show and no substance.
